Conference Presentation Update:
Mtr Julia Gatta, the professor of Pastoral Theology at Sewanee, will be presenting
on themes from her book, "The Nearness of God: Parish
Ministry as Spiritual Practice."
Dr Ronald Young will be presenting on aspects of Anglo-Catholic urban witness
in a presentation entitled, "Presence not Charity: Anglo-Catholic Urban
Ministry in New York".
Dr Derek Olsen, author of the Haligweorc blog, will
be presenting on issues surrounding Communion without Baptism. Some of his fine work on the subject
may be found here.
Mtr Lizette Larson-Miller, the Professor of Liturgical Leadership and the Dean
of the Chapel at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, will present on the
Sacrament of Anointing, drawing in part from her book,"The Sacrament of the Anointing
of the Sick."
Conference Update:
Our Friday Mass will be celebrated on an altar constructed for "The First Catholic Congress held
in New Haven, Conn. Nov. 3rd, 4th, and 5th A.D. 1925". We
will also be using the first thurible used in the Episcopal Church in the
United States.
