Fr David Cobb, Convener (two year term)

David Cobb is the rector of Christ Church, New Haven, where he has served since 2003. He is a graduate of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and was ordained to the diaconate and priesthood in the Diocese of Alabama, where he served as clergy in charge in Carlowville and as curate in Selma. He previously was rector of Old St. Paul’s in Baltimore, of St Christopher’s in Oak Park Il, and curate at Church of our Saviour in Chicago. At present, he is working on a revision of the St. Augustine Prayer Book for the Order of the Holy Cross.  He is married to Ruth, the Director of Admissions and Alumni Relations at St. Thomas Choir School, New York, and they have three children. He has been serving as Provisional Convener for the Society during months the Society was being formed.

Mtr Veronica Tierney, Vice-Chair (special one year term)

Veronica Tierney is currently a doctoral student at Boston College studying patristic theology with a focus on notions of divine presence. She also serves as Priest Associate of Trinity Parish, Newton Centre, MA and as a supply priest for the Diocese of Massachusetts. Veronica earned her BA in history from Clark University in Worcester, MA, after which she worked in the investment management industry in Boston and Los Angeles. She earned her MDiv from Yale Divinity School and a Diploma in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale and was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Los Angeles. She and her husband Peter, who is also a priest, live in Needham, MA. She has been serving as Provisional Vice Chair for the Society during months the Society was being formed.

Fr Patrick Malloy, Chaplain (special one year term)

Patrick Malloy is the rector of Grace Church in Allentown, PA. He has served on the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music and currently is the Professor of Liturgics and the Director of the Chapel at the General Theological Seminary. He holds a Ph.D. in liturgical studies from the University of Notre Dame, where he was on staff at the Notre Dame Center for Pastoral Liturgy. He has also taught at St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN, the University of Santa Clara, CA, and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. While at Duquesne, he was the director of graduate program in pastoral ministry. His book Celebrating the Eucharist, published by Church Publishing in 2008, examines the historical, theological, and social concerns that foster sound liturgy. He has been serving as Provisional Chaplain for the Society during months the Society was being formed.


Fr Jared Cramer, Treasurer (two year term)

Jared Cramer serves as a Clergy Resident in the Lilly-Endowed Foundations for Spiritual Leadership program at Historic Christ Church in Alexandria, VA. He is a native of Western Michigan and completed a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies at Rochester College in Rochester Hills, MI. He attended seminary at the Graduate School of Theology at Abilene Christian University (ACU) in Abilene, TX. He graduated from the School of Theology at the University of the South, with a Master of Sacred Theology in Anglican Studies, in 2008. His S.T.M. thesis, entitled Safeguarded by Glory: The Ecclesiology of Michael Ramsey Applied Today, will be published next year by Lexington Book. He currently lives in Alexandria, VA, with his wife, Bethany, and their dog, Cappadocian. He has been serving as Provisional Treasurer for the Society during months it was being formed.

Fr Jesse Abell, Secretary (special one year term)

Jesse Abell has served as the Associate Rector of St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Zionsville, IN, since June 2007. In addition to his parish duties, he serves the Ecumenical and Interfaith Officer for the Diocese of Indianapolis. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Indiana Wesleyan University and his MPhil in Psychology and Religion at the University of Cambridge. He attended seminary at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, and was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Northern Indiana. He is also a member of the Episcopal Network for Science, Technology, and Faith and the Episcopal Network for Animal Welfare, being a dog-lover himself. He is engaged to marry Allison Martorano next June. He has been serving as Provisional Secretary for the Society during the Society during months the Society was being formed.

Robert Hendrickson, Communications Director (two year term)
 
Robert Hendrickson is a doctoral student at the General Theological Seminary studying sacramental theology, specifically the sacrament of confession.  He is also employed by the Episcopal Church's ecumenical office and is the program director of the St. Hilda's House residential internship program at Christ Church New Haven.  He received his Master's in Divinity from General in 2009 and is slated to be ordained in the Diocese of Connecticut in 2010.  Previously, he studied at the University of Mississippi, Cornell University, and Beijing Foreign Studies University.  He also worked as the Communications Manager for Brooks Brothers.  He is married to Dr. Karrie Cummings Hendrickson who is a professor in New Haven. He has been serving as Provisional Communications Director for the Society during months the Society was being formed.
