The Society of Catholic Priests (SCP) is a growing society of women and men serving as priests, deacons, and consecrated religious throughout the Anglican Communion. The Society aims to promote priestly spirituality and catholic evangelism.

The North American province includes members from The Episcopal Church (USA) and The Anglican Church of Canada.  In line with catholic principles, each member is in full communion with his or her diocesan bishop or religious superior.  Our province, along with provinces in the United Kingdom and Australia, form an international fellowship that consists of local chapters in smaller geographic areas.

"It is through Christ’s grace that we count ourselves members – let alone sharing priesthood – in His church. I delight that the Society of Catholic Priests takes seriously the demands of priesthood through its impressive rule of life – and I am grateful to God for each and every member.” - The Most Rev. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury
